Default Dupage stock set

I was sent a real nice (dirty) HRA stock set from Dupage......Beat my expectations. The next(if there is a next) HRA I get from the CMP with a new stocks set will get this one.

Very nice! What differentiates an HRA stock from an SA stock? I received one in similar condition and was wondering what I have.

The no serifed circle P is one of the tell tale signs, picture doesn't show it but the "big back porch" is another indication of a HRA stock.

Another thing to ook for, flip stock over and look at the shape of the pistol grip. It has a more round shape instead of oval as other manufactures
HRA can have 3/8 or 1/2 DAS. 3/8 is earlier stock, if it has 3/8 DAS its HRA

Guys,
Also remember that SA used a Sans-Serif P in Circle Proof stamp intermittently on Rebuilds during the 60's.
IHC also used that proof on production stocks.
Rock Island Arsenal also used a Sans-Serif P in Circle Proof though it is a little different in size from the SA and HRA versions.

Was this one of the $70 G.I. walnut stock sets, or the 3/8" HRA very fine condition stock?

One of the $70 ones. It must have been a Filipino return as it looked like all three of the SA rifles I recently purchased. It has the large rear "porch". My theory is when they sprayed the termite treatment on them the dust turned the stocks into a dirty mess.

Looks like this post sold the rest of the $70 Dupage stocks.
