Spent 3 years there while in uniform - before their revolution, obviously. Good people, generally, lousy gub'mint. CMP protocols prohibit me from making comparisons to DC today.

came from that part of the world. Today they are a country that sells oil but imports gasoline. They have a few dozen F14s with no computer chips, some canned Garands and millions of ********ed off people. Why wouldn't their bullets be great?

1. There was a covert operation in Vietnam ( I believe it was called Eldest Son) that doctored captured ammo and placed it back into the communist supply chain. caused many small arms and tubes to explode killing the user. The American rifleman ran an article on this in the last year or so.

2. Unless you shoot a tremendous amount of ammo, is the little bit you save worth jeopardizing a weapon in which you have a great deal invested.

It is not paranoia to realize that quality control differs from country to country and that enslaved people dont make the best armaments. Look at the Nazis forced labor munitions industry in WWII or the Russians in Aaghanistan where only about a third of thier ordinance actually worked.

I would hate to read on here that a fellow shooter destroyed a weapon or worse yet was injured or blinded by foreign ammo.

I will stick with HXP which has a proven track record, is made in a democracy and by an ally.
