Very good.

I was there last year. Shot the first string and went right home before the roads became impassable. I'll keep and eye out for your posting.

Jess--and others: No match this year. My farmers did not get the corn off yet. They are trying to make a living and we are just having fun--so I am not willing to knock down all the corn it would take to clear the full target area. I will take steps to avoid this situation in the future....but this year, we will not have the match. Good Shooting.........

The forecast is for temperature that is 20ish with a breeze in the 10-15 mph range. Not a nice day to be shooting on top of Mount Windy. Just to keep you warm, here are a couple of photos from 2011 when we still had global warming. I can't remember how many shooters we had, but I think there must have been at least 20-25. Even the Big Swede was there along with contingents from Indiana and Ohio.

Nice pics--you got both winners of the CMP National Garand and Springfield matches in the last one. Climbing the hill was part of their training program....and also the last straw for the Big Swede, who had to move to Arizona to recuperate. Good Shooting.....
