I can honestly say I never thought I'd see the asking (and in some cases getting) prices were are seeing on common 22LR ammo. I still have quite a few 50rd boxes bought at hardware stores for 89. And a good supply otherwise.

Stuff like that is madness.

Although I'm not sure he'll actually get that for it, it's shocking none the less. What really amazes me is what some ammo is bid up to on GB. You know that's the getting price and it is just nuts!!!

The going rate in Kali right now is 10 cents a round for bulk from those that were fortunate enough to stock up before the panic.

Default 22 ammo

I was at a gun show here in Michigan yesterday and bricks of 22 ammo was $50-$80.I picked up 4 boxes of the old Winchester yellow box 22 mag ammo for $12.00 a box and felt like I got a fair deal.

the other day, *while* I doing the "checkout" for 5 very fairly-priced .22LR bricks at Palmetto State, it wouldn't let me finish and then said the item had been sold out.

Gun show here in Tallahassee a week ago the asking price of a box of 50 rds of Eley Sport was 12 bucks and a bulk pack of Remington Golden, 500 rds I guess, was 80 bucks. With a little patience this stuff will return to normal pricing and the gougers will be remembered.

If you think blaster ammo for 50-100$ a brick is sad think of the match shooters.

Places from Gander Mountain on down the scale of profiteering scumbags are getting $250 a brick for middle grade Federal.

Various grades of Eley are selling for from 35 cents a round to 1$ a round. In dollars, that 175$ a brick to 500$ a brick.
