Default .22LR Ammo Order to Ship Thread.

In an effort to segregate Aguila .22LR prolonged backordered order/ship information from surplus/centerfire orders, I ask that folks to please keep information to just that; .22LR. If you are able to include mixed ammo orders with specific .22LR order/ship information great. Just trying to get the specific .22LR highlighted as opposed to it getting buried in with the faster centerfire information. Thanks for your participation.

Ordered: 419ASVSE .22LR Standard Velocity SP Centurion
Order Date: 02/02/2013
Order #: 652431
Status: Open
Ship Date: TBD
Balance Still Due: YES
CC Hit: NO

The wait doesn't bother me in the least. I live by the philosophy of 1 is none and 2 is one. E-store/Ammo Sales page stated plainly 120 days to dilivery. Just using this as a tool.

I placed an online order on 1/8/13 for 1 case of ASVGE which showed in stock.
Note: my paperwork was already in order having purchased a rifle a month earlier.

Confirmation email 1/8 with no indication of shipping date expected or whether product was backordered or in stock as shown when I ordered.

(Website continued to show in stock for at least a week after my order was placed.)

I emailed 1/23 to ask if the delay was normal or if the product might not really be in stock, or if something was hung up and the reply a few days later said "The Sales Department is processing orders placed on January 4, at this time. They have not made it to your order yet, but will send you an email confirmation once the order is processed."

Credit card charged 1/29
Order showed shipped and tracking number online 1/31 early AM (but not on the "open orders" list page, only when you click through to the order details).
Email shipping confirmation email 1/31 late PM

You do have to be patient, the "order processing" wheels turn slowly at the CMP. I imagine they could avoid a lot of emails and phone calls if they advised of the backlog time when they confirm a shipment (or on the website subsequently).

Now it is up to FedEx.

Delivery caution: an ammo shipment via FedEx is sent "adult signature required", same as a rifle, so you have to keep an eye out and be available to receive the shipment, or, online you can tell FedEx to hold it for your pickup.

I ordered a case of .22 standard velocity 3 days ago and it showed it out of stock but still taking orders????
I guess that means they are still expecting a shipment but that is just a guess.

They're expecting more Mayish. It says 120 days to delivery on the description page.

Yes, that was indeed acknowledged priviously. Does not seem that folks are placing many .22 orders. That may change after they get their new 10 can limit ordered though.

I'm not worried about 120 day wait, either. I don't like it, but not worried about it.
