Anyone with a 1911 shooter to sell, please contact me.
If you buy a Sarco, be prepared to totally refinish it, and I would highly advise replacing all the springs. Make no mistake, these are ugly duckling when you get them. I bought one of the Colt's and one of the Sistema's. I refinished them both myself. Don't expect great bore's either, but mine both have enough rifling to shoot pretty good. I'll post before, after, and a couple of range pictures. I put 50 rounds through the target with the Colt, and around 25 or so with the Sistema. Shots were two hand grip with no bench rest at 15 yards.

In my opinion they are well worth the money if you want to restore them, and it's something that only takes some time and elbow grease. If you're intested in restoring one there is a thread on the 1911 forum that will make it oh so easy on you. At the moment the 1911 forum is down. When it comes back up I'll post a link to it. I wish I could afford to do a couple more.
