Default 11-29 Barrel and Bayonets are here....

My 1952 Barrel was an awesome deal. I cleaned it with a heat gun, paper towels, and an old shop towel. The inside took some work, but it is perfect. The bore took several patches and some Butch's Bore Shine on a brush. The breech area had some corrosion, however, not enough to effect the function. I think it can be removed with a light application of a gunsmithing stone.

The bayonets are two PAL's. Both appear unused and un sharpened. One is silver and one is black. Neith have a date so I have no clue when they were made.

One scabbard has US M7 on it the other has no markings that I can find.

One bayonet is a gift and I have no clue why I would want one over the other. If someone has advice, that would be great.

I wish I would have bought a few more barrels.

The black one is likely a Greek refinish. I would keep the lighter parked PAL.
