Those $100 used barrels are tempting for a casual fun build project if you have a bunch of spare other parts yearning for a new home.

I've got some of the brass brushes, but the current philosophy seems to be using the latest solvents with a nylon bore brush, unless you have a badly fouled bore. The nylon won't wear the bore and is enough once you start with a cleaned bore.

Seems Dupage is sticking it to us on the Bore Brush,s they are now in stock again at $75.00 a box of 100,Thankfully i got mine last week at the $50.00 price for a 100 https://shop.dupagetrading.com/produ...e7fd29abcca91a

Yup, price went up 25.00 for the box, also got mine at 50.00

I'm sure they've seen how their brushes sold here for a good bit more than they were charging. I don't blame them for raising the price. Who likes to leave money on the table?

Depends on which end of the table your on with that,making or losing 25 bucks a pop,thats quite a one time hike 50%

To their credit, they didn't pull a CTD: cancel existing orders and relist a week or so later at the higher price.
