Default asked for Rockola and got a Saginaw

I received my email today. The serial number says I'll get a Saginaw by 1030 tomorrow. I had asked for a Rockola along with a lot of other people and was holding out hope for one. Anyone with a boltless Rockola want to trade???

A pair of boltless Rock-Olas came yesterday. Same as everyone else, dry beat-up SA potbellys but metal's in good shape. Mostly mixed parts but I'm happy, I ordered two more.

Default boltless

Thanks Garandman, I will enjoy it. Anything I get from CMP is a deal and well worth it. I don't want to sound like a winer.

Boltless arrived today, my request was "Sticky" free so a 1.8M Quality Hardware with Rock-ola barrel arrived. ME 2 on the nose with CMP gauge. Quick once over shows all inland, dont know what the trigger is. Hammer has a strange B/R in a box, any idea. Stock and handguard post war Springfield with butt plate beat to death, manufacture unknown. I have an Inland Bolt so it will stay a mix-master.

A special thanks to Bubba, or his Greek counterpart for screwing up a perfectly good potbelly stock Interesting mod that Bubba made in the oiler slot, could that be to fit the strap and snap on the leather slings?

Overall Im very happy, I plan to order another if they still are available in about a month.

WRA- the same oiler slot issue was found with some of the FAT stocks where Guido got carried away with a rasp. I fixed one by glueing in pieces of wood and sanding-shaping to match.

Your hammer is a late Rock-Ola btw.

Order rec 6/25
DBU 6/29
Estore 7/20
Rec 7/27

No sticky. Got a Quality Hardware 1579xxx (June 43) with 3-43 Rockola bbl. Original park. Barrel is bright and looks like an ME 2 with HXP. G-3 service grade tag.

No pitting or rust. The stock has faint ordinance cannons, HI or IH in the sling well, P AA N (Aniston Arsenal?) on the left side of the stock and a serif P on the grip.

Other parts: Quality Hardware front band, Inland trigger housing and slide, Rockola rear sight.

Bought it for my bro, but I'm thinking bout keeping it : ) Will try to post pics Weds.

Order #322004
Shipped: 7/26
Serial: 3747045

Looks like it is a Jan - Feb '44. Here are the details:

Stock = Post war SA , big dings , very dry and a big "X" carved on bottom of pistol grip. Prolly gonna get fleabay'd. I have an IBM on my QH to replace it with.
Barrel = Underwood 1-44 (original) small area of pitting near barrel crown
MW = NICE, no gauge, but looks to be about a 2 on an HXP round
Barrel band = KI stamped on the side.
Hand Guard = two rivet IO with a small chunk gone from the side.
Recoil plate = unmarked
Trigger housing = loose, tho nicely marked Inland
Hammer = LT-Q that looks new, Quality Hardware?
Trigger = R.I. or P.I. marked on top
Butt Plate = not too bad but I have no idea on maker
Slide = No numbers but a nice "U" Underwood?
Rear Sight = unknown type, very well marked "I.R.C.O."
Front Sight = no markings
Safety = flip, marked J.A.O. on bottom
Mag catch = M with underline

The tag is marked G-3 (service grade?). The stock really is dry. I was hoping for better but I kind of expected it. Serial number is worn as well as the markings on top of the receiver. One small area of pitting on the receiver below the woodline. The metal is pretty good overall. Like I said in the description, the trigger housing is loose. Not sure why but it is. Gonna have to work on that.

Definitely worth the money to me. I will post pics after I get some sleep.
Here she is.

the rest are here:

She is already out of the bone dry SA stock and nestled into an LW-B marked IBM stock. Anybody have a lead on an inexpensive correct bolt?

Overall from my other 12 carbines, they look great, need TLC! Both Stocks need refinished but look like they'll prevail again! And make SUPER looking carbines!
Not bad for 325.00
