Just to clarify . . . .

Only the ACTUAL bayonet lug is milled . . . .but it is attached to a STAMPED body which encircles the barrel and stock tip (not talking about the upper band/stacking swivel here) on the A3.

I have Remington M1903, ser# 32079xx, which is close to the OP's rifle. Condition is very good original finish and I've always believed this rifle is original, other than the bolt, which I'm not sure about. The stock is Remington 1903 (not 03a3) with stock pins and a clear FJA cartouche. My rifle has some stamped parts, including a blued, small bow trigger / magazine assembly and lower band. My barrel date is 8/42.
