I came across 250 rounds of once fired federal 308 brass. I have been loading them with 150 grain fmjbt and 748 powder. The load I used only has them a 2550 fps. The pressure range is at 48,000. Would they be safe shooting them in a 7.62 nato barrel?

Size them to fit your chamber and you should have no problems. Federal brass is approximately the same weight as military brass but somewhat more ductile. I use it and see no more failures than with other commercial or military cases. High pressure loading will expand and loosen the primer pockets eventually. Good Shooting. ...
