What is interesting is that when I opened a couple of boxes of the LC 62 Match, in one box all cases were head stamped "LC 63 Match" and in the other box about half were "LC 62" and half were "LC 63". I remember shooting a "Leg" match and saw the same thing with the army issued ammo -"LC 62/63 NM" marked cases in the same box. The boxes were clearly marked LC 62 Match. I had friends on a couple of Army teams and they were generous with ammo, that's where the ammo came from. Those were the good old days.
I also found a couple of cans of 7.62 mm M118 marked "LC 68" all in sealed boxes.

I agree. Last time I looked at them, that's what they were going for if you purchased quantities of 10 or more. Sort of lead me to the decision that I had enough of them.

Please understand that I am not trying to sell anything. I only wanted know if anyone used the clips or adapters. It would be too much work to try to find, pack, ship them. Then try to deal with any questions.
Thanks for the info.

For GM1MAN
I have found one partial can of M80 Ball 7.62mm. ( I am sure I have more some where) It is in a .50 caliber can and is Lot LC 12934. It is packed in bandoliers of 10 rounds per pocket in two five round clips , six pockets per bando with one adapter per bando. Ergo 60 rounds per bando. There were seven bandos per can for 240 rounds per can. Four bandos have never been removed from the can. There is one partial bando with 30 round left still in the pockets.

My mistake. The M 80 can holds 420 rounds not 240, and is so marked. I have some M72 MATCH and it loaded in enblocs and there are 240 rounds per can.

Should you decide to offer for sale any stripper clips and spoons, I would be interested. Please PM me. Thanks

Cosine26,

I know you have stated that you are not trying to sell anything, but you should know that you have some value to these items. You should pay a visit to the M14 forum, where you might get a better idea of value of what you have stashed away.

I have no doubt that if you should decide to part with what you have stored away, you would have no problem selling any of it.
