For a semi M14 yes. My precision bolt in 6.5 runs right around 1/4 moa when I do my part.
Always makes be feel like a real shooter to get down prone with the bolt and attempt to make it do it's thing.

First I am mystified why go to 6.5 in a M1A if the mission were not to get better accuracy at longer ranges but its clear some of you , who've put a ton of money into a 6.5 M1a are like Ferrari owners. You could and can go to 120mph (or more) but chose to do the speed limit and use the sports car (your 6.5 M1a) as a daily driver.

When I think of the Ferrari ..I then get it. If I had one, I'd have no interest driving at Le Mans. Just good to go to have it. Same with 6.5 M1a.

I have just jumped on the 6.5 Creedmoor train, many thanks to those who shared their loads. This will greatly jump start me in load development.

Milprileb- I think with Bula sale over on the M14forum, you have some really good options that aren’t Ferrari prices.

The best M14 setup I have in .308 runs right at .75 moa.

The XM21 has a 1913 rail machined as part of the receiver. No need for a separate mount. Rings are Leupold QRW, TPS, or Leupold MK4 depending on the application at hand.
At this point in my life I won't use any more dang side mount for my rifles. Can't get any more solid than this. Bula has a 4th of July sale on right now for 495. for one of these forged receivers. What a deal.
