Default M14 Stripper Clips and Adapters

I have 200-300 M14 5 round stripper clips and about 100 adapters that slip onto the M14 magazine and allows loading the magazine with the stripper clips. Does anyone ever use/need these.

Just curious

Been using them for over 50 years and have accumulated about 10 lifetime supplies.

The M14/M1A community likes them and when they come up for sale at a reasonable prices, they sell very quickly.

What is considered a reasonable price?
I also convert them for use in M1903's, M1917's, M70's. etc
When the springs are polished and additional "dimples" are added they make excellent bolt gun clips. Clip on right is a modified clip. Clip on left is unmodified

Depending upon condition and quantity, I have seen the stripper clips go for between $1.00 to $2.00 each and the adapters go for $1.50 to $2.50 each.

Of course there are those who ask much more, I can't say if they get their price though.

Thanks for the info. All of my stuff is in deep storage, off site so too much trouble to dig out. I also have a coupe of cans of M80 Ball in clips and bandoleers with one adapter per bando.

A lot of M14 clone shooters use them with iron sights. Just load 5 rounds, shoot 5 round strings, repeat. The going price of $1.50 - $2 is good, not sure on the spoons. I bought repack kits from Fred’s , everything included except ammo and just reuse them

VR C,O,
Depending upon where the M80 came from, it could be very valuable. Without the ammo, in the past I would pay $75.00 plus shipping for 10 repack kits, which included 10 bandoleers, 120 stripper clips, and 10 chargers. When www.fredsm14.com was still in business, that is where I could buy them from.

You may want to dig things out and see where the ammo came from. There are not many places offering the stripper clips, chargers and bandoleers on the web anymore. If the ammo is of good surplus quality, it is probably worth more than you think.

Hi GM1MAN
I have done some digging and have not yet found the M80. I did find that I have a lot of
LC 62 MATCH M72 (30-06 in sealed cartons Lot 12181))
FA 65 Match M118 ( 7.62mm in sealed cartons lot FA25))
Some where I have some unopened boxes of
7.62 mm M59 rounds ( lot no LC 12053 do not know the head stamp )
7.62mm M 80 Lot number WRA 22429
Found another box of M14 stripper clips and magazine adapters.

I would say you have done well, when I dig through my pile of old stuff, there is nothing in there like that!
