Default 1917 b/r at the North Store

How much in parts are we talking about to turn that poor forlorn 1917 b/r at the North store into a shootable rifle?

If you don't have the parts already, just get a complete rifle from someone on the forum. Usually costs more to build one up than you can buy complete.

I was curious to it's condition. I must have missed it when I was up there a couple weeks ago. What price did they have on it?

Once in a blue moon, I'll run across a sad looking 1917 at a pawn shop where someone has ground the ears off and/or tapped the receiver to accommodate a scope or something. Those might make good donor rifles to finish out this b/r if the metal on it is in decent shape. But the days of building a rifle on the cheap are long gone for the most part.

I didn't nab the price. Sorry. But I bet if you call them they will tell you.
