Default L.C. Carbine Ammo

What would be a fair price on a ammo can full (1350rds) in original LC boxes. This is probably from the last time the CMP had them for sale.

IIRC It was $395 plus shipping. Somewhat north of there.

I think your recollection is of something else. I bought 3 cans from the CMP when they sold them a few years ago, and just looked up the invoice, they were $520.00 per can + $29 shipping ea for $549 per can delivered.

.40 a round for 70 vintage LC boxed ammo is a steal today.
Headstamps are 71 & 72 and it's some nice hot, accurate, clean burning ammo, and smells sweet too. The commercial .30 available today, PPU, Aguilla, or anyone else pales in comparison in my book.

I wouldn't even think about selling any original boxes for less than .50 per round. You'll never replace it at that price point regardless.

From about a month ago. Have followed some of these sales and it seems $.50 a round shipped will sell...
