You ever catch a perch in Lake Erie? How big of a fish did you think they are?

It cracks me up that the restaurant review has more posts than the North Store report from last weekend...and there are actually rifles in the store!

The Ohio/Michigan crew did not get their limit yet. Loose lips...

Not to hijack the thread (too much) but the biggest LE Perch I've caught is about fifteen inches. They're a yellow perch - tasty when cooked right. The ones you pick up on the beach in the Spring don't taste near as good as fresh-caught. The bigger fillets aren't REALLY all that big. They're a good seller during Lent around here.

Tred lightly.....The Jolly Roger is some sort of Mecca to a particular group...so much they claim it to be sole reason for going (see what I did there) to the matches at all.

I've been. Its a place.

Won't be returning, though.

Frankly I prefer Nagoya (also known by a slew of other names)

Lake Ontario perch are maybe a foot long on a good day, which makes the filet maybe the size of a chicken tender at Tully's.

So, while I'd say $7.99 is probably a bit expensive for three pieces....it is out of season....so perhaps not.

And I agree....how this topic got posted to this board is....curious.
