Default Chrome M1

here are a couple snapshots of a chrome M1 from yesterday at the SS.

The photos are posted here using a Photobucket patch (discussed above in "Ask Each Other) to get around their recent changes, and I would be interested if folks without the patch can see them.

I see the photos fine too.

What is that on the front handguard, some tape?

Also looks like they did not chrome the handguard metal.

I guess the rear sight is chrome, but it looks dark.

Yes it does look nice.

Got three chrome rifles.

M1917 Winchester
M1903 Remington, 1942
M1 HRA

Guess I could stack arms with these if I wanted to get them out.

Looking for a chrome M1 Carbine.

Very cool. I don't use the Photobucket patch, and I could see the pictures fine also.

I've got one, a NPM. It's a cute shiny little thing that shoots pretty well.

I tried stacking my M1, M1917, and '03-A3 once. It was a mess. The stacking swivels don't align with each other. Or maybe the bayonets got in the way. Either way, it wasn't pretty.
