Default 1941A1 Cheek Piece

In Vintage Sniper Matches, is it legal to use a lace-on cheek piece on a Springfield 1941A1? The rules are rather vague: "A strap-on, lace-on or detachable wooden cheek-piece may be used if it was original to the rifle when used for sniping purposes."

I don't believe the 41' had a cheekpiece.

One of the few that did was the M1.

Use your wallet- that's legal.

No, the rules are quite clear. Since the 1941A1 was never issued with a cheek piece it is not legal to put one on it in this game.
