1903 mk1 auction

Damn its at 3k already.. What am i missing here. I just got a mk1 at a pawn shop with a HS 12-44 barrel and a replacement AOC marked stock for 900 otd... I could see the auction rifle get maybe 1500 ish..

Auction sales often make sense only to the buyer.

A few years back, I purchased a 1903A4 from somebody who bought it at the CMP auction. I paid $1,600 less then he did and may still have paid a little too much for it.
