Thoughts on this barrel? After clicking on the link, scroll down a bit for posting.

Would this hammer particular hammer be period accurate for this 1911? Base on the pictures, best guess on if this is colt USGI part?

I also picked up this milled trigger.

Not sure if I would replace anything, but I figure if it's not too expensive on ebay, I might as we pick it up since all the part prices are raising.

Not sure what happened. But this was the post.

I finally got some time to field strip my 1911A1 and take additional pictures. Upon removing the firing pin stop, there is no serial number on the slide. The back of the firing pin stop plate does not have any "ghost image" of any serial numbers.

On the frame, there was "G" that was stamped on the right rail. There's another mark next to the "G" on the lower right, but I'm not sure what the mark could be.

On the barrel, there are a few marks. On the right side of the barrel by the link, there is a "M." On the left side of the link, there is a "TZ 06P" mark. Lastly, on the top of the barrel hood, ".45 Auto / 7791193 / 86" mark.

Here is a link for pictures:

Any additional information that can be shared is greatly appreciated.

Any additional info on the slide? Is the safety correct for this pistol?

I know the hammer, trigger, and mainspring housing is incorrect for my 1911. Thanks.

Trying to get a period correct mainspring housing for my 1911. Is this one correct for a Colt made in 1943?

Seems to have a little rust with some pitting on the side. Tired to clean it off with 00 steel wool. Any issues with using this one? Should I continue to look for a better one?

Thanks.
