The highest reported RN was 19,004. Most feel that the numbers started at 1,000, so that leaves 18,000 assigned numbers. Clearly, some of these did not get pistols due to inability to contact them, a lack of funds or a change in priorities when their number came up.

Round 2 applications? Quien sabe.

Wow, that means there are as many as 11,000 RNs already in front of all of round 2 applicants, with a low estimate of 7,500.

I think at this point of time, all round #1 RN's have been fulfilled in one way or another. RN 19,001 was called on 1-20....

That would be interesting; 19,000 RNs fulfilled by 10,000 pistols of which only approx 6,500 were saleable by the CMP.

Unless they started the RNs at 10,001, which would make sense. Even then, it's a high attrition rate.

I'm getting my 2A notarized tomorrow and am sending it all in.

It was never made official by CMP but it has been rumored that they received another shipment/allotment of pistols....thus being able to fill the first round of orders. Now that the the first round has been filled(so it appears) they have opened round #2 to new orders. No one here knows exactly how many pistols they have, nor will they tell us.

That would also make (better) sense.

He might just be referring to the assignment of a number, Not the shipping of the M1911s themselves.

The quote from the email was that RGNís, the numbers, would be sent 6-8 weeks after the deadline. I was not joking. The way I take that means the deadline ends on 3/4 or whatever and the RGNís wouldnít be generated until 6-8 weeks later. I could be wrong. I know itís like whisper down the lane but he showed me the email. It also said all number hope to be sent out by July.

Default Just asking

Iím new to this 1911 lottery but Iím assuming they are not going to start the RGNs for the second round with no. 1 but will pick up where they left off with RGNs from the first round?

What do yíall think?
