I found a NOS Lyman/unmarked A4 base with the windage screws but lacking the mounting screws. I’ve seen listings on eBay for the Redfield torx or hex type but they’re not specific to the A3/A4 of course. Any sources for US made or original flathead screws?

If you go to Numrich Gun Parts and look under Shop by Category / Gunsmithing Supplies / Gun Screws, they have 11 pages of gun screws. You may be able to find what you're looking for there.

My local hardware store, "Do It Center", recently had their supplier add two boxes w/ 12 drawers labeled "gun screws"... various lengths, sizes, thread pitch, flat heads, domed heads even plug screws. Fillister slot, Philiip's & hex heads. Machine & wood screws. As far as finish, a few "blued", most were "black", some "in the white", a couple "case color". prices are very reasonable. quality has been good... btw, nice find on the base.

Ace Hardware also has a section of "Gun Screws" and I bought a full selection of scope mounting/other gun screws in a plastic box at Cabelas a year or two ago. CC
