Status of smallbore rifles

i have one question, i know the sale of rifles will not be announced in advance, but will we get an idea on condition, pricing, etc in advance/ when you know?

we will not announce the sale of rifles until we have them inspected, graded, and ready for shipment. We cannot make guesses about how many will be in what condition until we finish our inspections. And, we cannot determine pricing until we know what we have to sell. In short - no.

Do you plan to set any of these rifles aside for your North and South stores? My Grandfather and I are planning a trip to your north store when I return an upcoming Army school (after third week of March). We may just plan a week-end around the .22 rifles becoming available.

I understand this. When we make the 4 hour trip, it would be fun to have different examples to pick through. It would be very enjoyable!

Will any of the upcoming .22 rifles be available at the store, or will they all be offered via. mail order only?

With the number of 40Xs that were found to be available, likely two hundred or less, the number when divided between mail order sales and two stores will be mighty few. When they hit the stores my guess they will not last the day. The Win. 52Ds are less in number and haven't been inspected yet. If the 40Xs are any example of rifles being canibilized, I doubt the 52s will be much different and they are starting off with a lot less. It would be a dream to have 40Xs and 52s to go through but it won't happen. Best bet is to have an order form filled out except for the item and order number and be ready to overnight it or Fed Ex or Big Brown it the same day it you are going to have a chance of any sort. Also it would help to put down a second choice in terms of barrel weight with your order form. In regards to condition I can't remember any really bad rifle of either make sent out by CMP, if you are chosey you will be losey as there won't be any replacements.

What happened to the complete 40X HB and complete 40X SB, as well as the complete Win 52C's?
