Stopped in at the NS yesterday around Noon. Bob said there was a line up at opening and they were steady all morning. I went with the intent of picking up a 6 mil and left very happy. Took home a great one. High serial # of 6.09 mil. Appears all correct and all original. ME and TE both 1. Plenty left and heard Bob say more in the back! Shelves were full with the same stock that's been reported earlier. If you are looking for something nice, go now!

Thanks for the update. Been thinking about either a 6 mil or HRA collector, so guess I should try to go Thursday

Blasphemy, cameras in the war room! What rack is what? I am hoping for a once in a lifetime journey there either next Saturday or the Thursday after that. Any per-person, per-day limit in effect (1 Garand/1 RG/1 6 Mil, etc.)? I was really hoping the 1903A3s would line up with the timing, but I just want to go while I still can.

Default 6 million rifles

Question, what makes the 6 million serial number range springfields special?

I've never touched one, but my understanding is they are the pinnacle of Springfield's work, the best machining, etc. CMP was auctioning them a year or so ago and they went for more than $1,200 if I remember correctly.
