Arrow Rng process

Ok, here is the current scoop and as always subject to change:

Disregard the Oct. 5th date about the RNG.

We are allowing the mail services, USPS, Fed Ex, UPS, Carrier Pigeon & Pony Express, to deliver all packets post marked on 4th Oct. We will allow a few days, once all packets have been assigned a number(this will also take a few days) we will enter the numbers into the RNG which will then assign a number to each packet. Once all packets have their assigned RNG number, we will start the processing of the packets. As each packet has to be check for correction/completion before we can notify anyone, this will also take time. My guessimate is at least 30 days before anyone is notified. I may be wrong, and hope I am. Everyone MUST bear with us as this is a first for us also.

DO NOT CALL or EMAIL ASKING WHAT YOUR NUMBER IS All this does is slow us down and upsets you. We have already had one person demanding to know his number. I WILL NOT TOLORATE ANYONE BEING RUDE/UGLY AND CUSSING AT OUR STAFF (this does not include me of course). That person's packet has been thrown away.
We understand everyone wants to know their number and we will work as fast as we can.
As we did with the early submission packets, we will try to notify those that packets were not accepted. This will be after those that were accepted are notified.
At this time we have over 17,000+ packets.

As more information comes available I will try to keep everyone posted.

In the grand scheme of things does it matter? They will get what they get from the government, and those without a doubt will be sold. Even if they only got 17,500 packets this go around, they are not limited to selling 17,500 pistols.

My understanding is that got 8000 for FY18. FY19 started on Oct 1, so they might be getting more soon.

Thanks for the update Admin! I have been checking in periodically the past several months and must say I have had a few chuckles over the entire process, mostly from the good natured remarks from you!

You gotta have a sense of humor to deal with all the knuckle heads that walk around among us. I'm not sure if I got everything correct in my packet or not, but I certainly had plenty of time to make sure I did.

I was part of the recent carbine release and wasn't among the lucky to get drawn, though I do think I was in the hunt as my packet was received during the first day or two before they stopped accepting packets. I'll never know how close I came.....I feel much better about how this pistol release is being handled, giving everyone as equal a chance as possible. Letting us all know where we stand in the draw line is great too. Takes all the nail biting and gnashing of teeth away as well wondering if you're going to get drawn.

Looking forward to the results!!

Or they might not get them until later. I would refer you to Section 1091 as there are specific things that have to be done. Due to the delay in when the Army transferred them, part of the requirements for fiscal 2018 are going to be impossible ( or extremely easy depending on how you look at it ) to do. If they do get the next shipment before these are sold, I would be surprised ( and happy ). I am disappointed in that there are less than 18,000 packets currently. That could all be met with the next shipment being 10,000 and then the program would be in limbo. If there were more packets, then it would show more interest to the Army in getting more transferred to the CMP.

And tanks to admin for keeping us informed.
