Mine included a free Postal Meter carbine due to the shipping delay. How nice of them.

My two arrived pristine but oily with no rust even though one of the wrappings had "The Spots".

Wish I ordered more. Hardbacks are the best of the 30s as far as I'm concerned.

I ordered a couple. They all had micro spots but are in incredible condition. I have paid a LOT for hardbacks in the past so this was sweet.

I was fueling my lawn mower and remembered I had my two hardbacks sitting on my work bench. Took a small rag dipped in gasoline and wiped them down...cut the preservative like hot butter. And the smell was Devine!! They had the little rust marks on the paper but after cleaning I could not find even the most tiny mark on the magazines. Only problem now is whether to actually use them...or just look at them!! lol

I received my two today. Very pleased, no rust marks on the paper or on the magazines. They look absolutely new in appearance. Could not be improved in any way. These nice hardbacks definitely make up for the weird Greek scabbards I got with my carbine bayonets.

Received an order of 40 today.

Very pleased!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At first inspection:

22 spotless MINT.

8 almost spotless, almost MINT.

10 minor spots. Very acceptable.

My hope was for at least 50% of order to be mint. I far exceeded that.

One of the greatest deals to come along.

Other than lack of funds, I can't understand why anyone would just buy 1 or 2. If someone is selling $20 bills for $15, you buy!
