Default This group of Garands

.
Will Mr Johnson say where they came from? Other than the army,We buy them BECAUSE they come from the army.I'd like to know where they have been stored. Since I'm 77 years old It's my history too.

Well it goes to show never run your mouth faster than A CMP order for Garands.
I just got two PUKE PUMPKINS Birch stock sets .No markings at all NONE,
I havn't heard of anybody else getting these THIS batch.

Yeah, I got 1 out of 3 with Birch from this batch. I don't mind it though- variety is the spice of life after all.

They have been stored at Anniston for years, since the early eighties or before. These rifles were set aside by the Army and now the directorate has changed. We have no way of knowing where all they have been in the past. Condition and storage devices used they look just like the rifles I worked back in 2000.

Thank you for this little tidbit of information, Mr. Johnson. I like to find out any detail I can on my cmp m1's and even something as small as this is very interesting to me.

Lead Poison, I received 2x "pumpkin birch' stocks from this offering, one was a 5.7 HRA with the Army NSN tag and another was a beautiful RRAD 3.3 SA , mostly original including barrel, bolt, oprod and lockbars. Thank you CMP!
