Why all the high RGNs?

Just a couple speculative thoughts about the CMP 1911 program and the next batch of pistols. I believe there is currently NOT a permanent secretary of the army. The current secretary is ACTING secretary. That could be a factor in the immediate future of the program. I also imagine that there will be some sort report or audit of the first year of the CMP 1911 sales program that needs to be submitted when the first batch of sales are done. Depending on how comprehensive the requirements of the report are and if the government is part of the report process then there could be some down time before a 2nd batch is transferred and sales start again. If my speculation about this is not permitted then please delete. Thanks.

Was a second shipment even guaranteed? I thought it was pending assessment of the first. Seems like the first was super successful, but that's from our perspective.
