Big red, thanks for the reply.

I have only seen 8057 and 8096 posting they have received their call/order. Closest numbers to my number, 7975, receiving a call and a pistol are 7813 and 7818.

Regards

Neil

Default Last update was Beginning of May. . . .

Perhaps an update as to the progress of the selling would be in order since it is going on four months since the last update.

Are we at the end of the 8,000 allocated pistols available for sales? I know that the Forum represents a small percentage of orders for the 1911's but have not seen any movement lately other than a couple members that have reached out to CMP1911 about their RGN being passed over, which lead to them getting the call.
Is there any chance we can get a current status report?

Ok... Is this still the first batch? Or have we moved onto a second batch?

For the life of me I don't understand why the above answer is not sufficient.

I'm shocked they're still processing orders but I'm glad they still are. They've went way over where I thought the cut off would be.

There's an old saying about not looking a gift horse in the mouth...

If the Army were to release another batch of pistols to the CMP I would assume every Indian with their head and ear to the ground would be letting everyone else know.

I hope they release more. I hope they fulfill all the orders and open up orders again. I hope that once all qualifying orders are filled they let those who have already received one order another one.
