Default Clearing the bore

I got my nephew a M888 a year ago. Apparently, the cylinder pressure went low, and they have a pellet (probably more than one) stuck in the bore.

Any suggestions on how to clear this?

Thanks

Jim

If you can get hold of a 17 caliber cleaning rod , insert it from the muzzle end you should be able to drive it back to the chamber end. Lacking a 17 cal rod you should be able to do the same with a 1/8" dowel rod from the hardware store, providing there aren't too many pellets lodged in the bore. It may be possible to shoot it out with a full cyl of pressure, if there isn't too many pellets are in the bore.

Default multi-pellets

Good advice.

Back when the 880 was in fashion, multi-pellets was a fun thing to do. Particularly when the coach wasn't looking.

But when the 853 arrived, thing changed. No more multi-loads. Do not know if this was by accident or by design.
