Mine ate its way out of the crate. Then ate the crate and all the other parcels that were in the truck. I hope the driver delivered the right goat as he had a truck full. For those that didn't get theirs, they may have ended up eating the truck too.

The admin has so much patience re-answering the same questions. I look forward to moving on from questions and worries and hopes to photos of what comes in, parts identification, shooting stories, etc.

I’m just thinking of the wonderful “talking” that takes place at lunchtime. Has to be hilarious at Anniston!

Well As a Long time supporter of DCM/CMP im a bit sad reading all the BS that folks wrote in to CMP about or called in on and the number of impatient people clogging up the system with questions... to be honest..in my world if you cant read and write basic English you shouldn't own a firearm. CMP posted Clear Instructions on how to Buy a 1911, MANY folks Did not follow these instructions and then become angry when their paperwork was rejected. Or Stupid Questions about a 2nd NCIS Ck arguing they shouldn't have to do that...its their Reg's as dictated by the terms of sale with the Government. I have no Interest in Buying a 1911 but glad they are available.... and Sad to see the number of complaints from CMP customers.

All quiet on the western front. Which basically means we're still waiting...

Rest assured, when folks start getting their numbers they WILL post about it and you will know ... no chance everyone will already have their numbers and you ask, "So, when will the random numbers be assigned?" and then 18 people reply, "I got mine two months ago!" That won't happen, so just sit back and relax, do a little winter maintenance on your firearms, and let the process play out.
