Default Need a front sight base for a Kimber 82G

Anyone know where to get a replacement front peep sight base for a 82G?
A friends dad lost the front base and wants to go back to the original sights?

Thanks, binlookin, [aka Homer]

The hole spacing is 0.500" instead of the standard 0.560" and I think the dimensions of the block are also nonstandard.

ETA:
(1) I'd try asking specifics on the Kimber-specific forum at Rimfire Central
(2) Check the eligibility rules, but you could post a WTB ad both here and in the Rimfire Central classifieds.

I'd guess that you need a front sight block and the screws? Don't forget the screws. Probably 6-48, but the head size and screw length are important too. Try Champion's Choice.

Default Thanks to all.

I appreciate all your responses. Hopefully we can come up with one or enough information to have one made?
I still have one Kimber 82G left and can use the base from it for the measurements if we don't locate one?
Thanks, binlookin.
