I am showing off now. Can't help myself. Here's half a dozen pics of the "worse" Norwegian Carbine Bayonet I received.

I've received my fair share of ugly bayonets too. But I only post pictures of those on request.

I received my two bayonets today. Super pleased with condition. Should have ordered more, but don't really need them. Lol. No damage or rust. Only one stamped with a weird W with two weird symbols next to it on each side. Blades seem to have a copper look under the parkerizing. ?The W stamp looks just like the Whataburger W. Lol

One of my two has the same sort of mark. To me it looks like a reverse "F" then "W" and then another reverse "F". My blades also match your copper-ish color. Well worth the $15 for sure.

Question M4 Bayonets?

I purchased some in a lot of Carbine parts recently. Only marking I could find was: (backwards) F W (backwards F) located just below the crossbar. Any ideas where they were made and when?

My blades all have the backwards FW backwards F mark. The blades appear to be copper washed steel. Never heard of that process being used on an edge weapon?
