Sure, but wouldn't you rather send your money to the CMP and stand a good chance of getting a USGI sling?

Good point, Does your club membership have to be in good standing to order a sling?

If you can swing it ... to average out the shipping cost per sling, order several (5 - 10). Good investment as these will be gone to the future e-bayers or gunshow sellers at what sure will be a higher cost!

I ordered 2 last month and got one greek like new and one USGI WWII issue with light use and a small rust stain from the buckle.
Can't beat the price. A few guys got greek slings with loose sling tips. If you suspect your sling tip is loose, put the tip between a paperback book and give it a swat with wide mallet to set the hooks into the canvass. We used to do that with the canvass trouser belt tips sometimes. You needed to put it in something like a paperback book to prevent dings. |

There are folks at the SS buying 30-40 at a time. So they will not last forever. Good buy. I bought 15 or so. If you swing by the store you could get 100 MRT marked ones if you wanted.

All four of my slings were not USGI.
Win some, lose some. CMP is the Best, though! |

8 of my 10 had the MRT markings (pretty faint, but present).
