Default M1a liner glued in

For mondern military is having a stock liner glued in considered bedding? I have a stock I might pick up but the owner said his dad glued the liner in. It does not look like they modified the stock but just epoxied the liner in place. There’s no real build up of epoxy in the recoil area. He believes buy the look some older f the spare liners he just scored the contact area of the liners to give the epoxy something to hold on to...

The purpose and effect of gluing in the liner is essentially "bedding". Pretty minor stuff, but.... Good Shooting. ..

I forgot my camera.
One stock looks like the glued the liner in to strengthen a crack on the right side. Runs a few inches forward of liner screw back to the wrist. Another the screw holes looked buggered up as if the liner was loose and beat the holes.

Matters not lock up was loose and the other stocks with out glued in liners where not a improvement over what I have.
