Let me try to answer this seriously without coming across the wrong way.

It's not firearm specific. It was formulated for corrosive primers whether they are fired in a Springfield, Garand, Mosin Nagant, Remington 700 or a Colt 1911. Of course it works. Salts are salts whether American or Russian. Try some. You will be satisfied.

This is my dad's pistol. It has had over 2000 rounds of Egyptian and Czech corrosive ammo fired through it. I hope you don't think we would let it rust. She's 48 years old and the bore is nicer than the exterior. I am selling what we have always used for corrosive ammo.

BTW, I'm from Metairie. I lived there from 1951 to 2005, 3 weeks post Katrina.

Maybe i should have asked is it still useable because of the smell
