Hey Bill, if the smile on your and Travis’ face at the South Store were any indication of the time you spent in Anniston, I’d say you were both awfully pleased with your visit.
We met there the day you picked up the 1903. We had just started to discuss motorcycling in Alaska and they called you to the counter. Travis looked like he was on cloud 9.
Glad you guys had a great time. I picked up a Rem 1903 that day also, had to turn down the last 2 Mark 1’s, I thought they were pretty rough.

I remember you. I'm sorry we were not able to continue our discussion.

Travis is totally pleased with his 1903. It is super nice. We have figured out that, other than the 1920 bolt, it is an all original early 1918 Springfield.

Happy to hear that you got a 1903. They are truly historic rifles.
