Dupage USGI Stock Sets Are Back

My two sets arrived today. No cartouches but not bad after rubbing them down with BLO once.[IMG][/IMG]

Haven't taken any pictures but my set is similar in color to the sets above. No cartouches and quite a few dings and scratches in the stock. Underwhelming overall but not complaining.

My stock set arrived yesterday. When I first opened it, I was pretty happy. I then turned it over and it looks to have termite damage on the left side.

I think it'll clean up pretty well, but will have to do some work on smoothing out the damage on the left.

I rec'd my order; not only were these stocks nicer than the single DuPage stock from the prior $75 offering, but they were on average somewhat nicer than what came on my most recent PI 'service grades' - so am pretty pleased this time around.

Yes, I passed also, don't need another unmarked stock. They also have 3 WRA stocks with problems for $250; cracks and whatnot.

I rolled the dice and ordered a few. I gotta replace a hackleberry that came on a field grade. If I remember, I will update with pics when I receive them.

Wondering if anyone has any experience with these stock sets. I have two service grades with cmp stocks I would like to put GI stocks on. Are they worth the $100?

Most folks on the forum swear by Dupage. My experience has been a coin flip, either very nice serviceable sets, or ones so beat I’d rather keep the new CMP stock. But either way, it will be the real deal. And the price is slowly creeping up each year as stock dwindles.
