A husband and wife duo found USS GRAYBACK off Okinawa. Rest in peace sailors.

Was 80 the normal number of crew on a sub?

Thanks for posting. While stationed on Okinawa in the early 70's, I was fortunate to participate in Small boat operations with the latter day USS Grayback. Great crew, great experience beautiful ship. RIP to the 80 crewmembers from her namesake.

For a fleet boat, yeah, that's about the normal crew size.
