What I want to know about you guys with huge collections of one type of rifle is do you own any other types? I've always been a "broad front" kind of collector. No more than 3 of any one type (M1 Garand, and M1911), 2 of anything worthwile ('03, No.1 LE, N.4 LE, M14, M1 Carbine), and one M1917 Enfield cause it's just in excellent shape (10/18 barrel and looks like it was built yesterday).

No, you do not qualify for welfare with all those mounths to feed. If you wanted that many kids in your house, you should have thought about how and where you would get all the ammunition you were going to need to keep them from getting hungry!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You must spend a fortune on just gun oil and bore patches!

Not even going to ask how grandpa got it. That is an amazing example of an, I assume, unissued carbine.

That is the most beautiful carbine I've ever seen. What a family heirloom.

Here's my Inland. I didn't get it from the CMP. My gunsmith had it on consignment, and I had to have it! It just called my name!
