Default George Ball
George passed away at 5:55 this evening. No information on arrangements is available at this time, but, as soon as we know anything, it will be posted. He will be missed by us all.

It's hard to think of a better place than the CMP north store, but I am sure George has now found it.

Very sad news....he helped me pick out my first three M1's, with patience and good humor..

He will be missed.....Prayers of comfort for his family and friends...

Default I always enjoyed talking to George, he was a great guy,
and I sure will miss him. His knowledge and gentle spirit made him easily approachable and his willingness to help was always appreciated. God rest his soul, he was such a pleasant and helpful man. I am really sorry to hear this news.

HOOAH George and a tearfull farwell. One of the greatest man i ever had the chance to know. Ill never forget the last time i had the chance to sit over a cup of joe and listen to your memories about the "old ways" of the Army. You helped soo many and asked for nothing in return. You well be missed by many a truely sad loss. Gods speed and good hunting.

I'm glad I had a chance to speak with him more the last time I was there about 2 months ago. The rifles I picked up that day are disassembled on my table right now. They will have more value knowing George assisted me with them.

He will be missed and may his family find strength to make it through this time.
