Default M1911 and M1911A1 Auction Statistics

I have been keeping a simple spreadsheet of the M1911s and M1911A1s being sold on the auction site. Here are some of the numbers I have gathered as of the 30 November 2019 closeout date.

Number of pistols sold: 126
Average cost of a pistol: $3,103.61
Highest pistol cost: $8,501.00
Lowest pistol cost: $1,612.76
Highest weekly revenue generated: $32,093.01 (Week 5)
Lowest weekly revenue generated: $4,000.00 (Week 9)
Total revenue generated: $391,055.33

Not bad for 17 weeks of sales.

I wonder about the CMP expense in making those sales?

There was a report with a breakdown of all the expenses associated with bringing them over and setting up everything, but I don't have a link handy.

Good news on the auction guns though, that's more money for youth marksmanship programs.

I would estimate around $22,000.00 to $25,000.00 in overhead just for the auction portion of this program. This would leave around $369,055.33 to $366,055.33 for shooting programs and other CMP expenses. I call that a Win-Win for both the shooting community and the CMP.
