I thought "CC" marked bolts were replacement bolts manufactured by Commercial Controls. I read that somewhere on the internet, and of course that must make it true.

"CC" marked bolts were indeed manufactured by Commercial Controls. But the bolts were marked "CC" atop the handle, not underneath the handle. I am unable to detect or confirm a "CC" marking atop ufc3app's bolt handle photo.

Default Extra Pics

Here is the extra pic I promised on the bolt. I took a closer pic of the "CC" and included a pic on the firing pin retainer with an "R" stamp on it. Looks like the bolt is a rebuild bolt body with Remington parts. I happily welcome any other opinions.

The bolt is indeed a Commercial Controls bolt. Your latest picture is much clearer.

My 03 needs the correct rings so I can mount my M84 scope, but where to find???...I have a weaver 330 with correct rings, also m82 lyman with correct 7/8 rings, but my new m84 needs 7/8 rings to fit my GI redfield base, but can't seem to find one set. I have read that if I use new rings an mount to the GI redfield base, it will screw up the original GI issue???............I'm stuck.............sonnyboy
