Any chance I could ask what 4.66's are going for? I've got one in near-new condition that I've had for several years and believe it to be 100% correct. I got it with everything on it except the stock, and got the ord wheel stock on a different CMP rifle.

Default 4.66

The one I saw the other day at the show had a price tag on it of a couple bills shy of 4k. That one was all “correct” as well. It was wearing a 3/8” DAS. If the going rate on the HRA/SA “Correct” for “early” 4.66 stocks with OWs is North of 6 bills then the answer would be.... “whatever someone wants to pay for it” as per usual. The one I saw was a high 3-digit.

yikes. Though gun show prices are usually silly/beyond what I would pay. Not looking to sell, just a bit curious for insurance purposes, etc.

I figure 3k for insurance perhaps? I reckon they are somewhat scarce and would be difficult to replace?

Default Hra

I would say by the 7000’s she would likely have an HRA marked operating rod. But if you decide to switch it out you may want to hold onto the post war SA rod. Just to be on the safe side. There are stories of early HRAs being sent back with complaints of WRA and SA parts on them.... bad idea...

I was lucky enough to get one years ago as a collectors grade. Some guys were sending them back because they were not all HRA, haha. I got lucky. Also got a gap letter IHC before they started culling them. Mine is a later SN with the 3/8 DAS.

Guys,
I have a growing database of HRA 4.66 rifles (up to 143 of them so far) and I would certainly like to add any of yours that I don't already have.
Particularly interested in Correct or Collector Grades but all are welcome.
Just PM me if you want to help.

Rob
