Default 1903, possibly A3 Bolt Markings

Looking at a bolt on a M1903 Remington, late, 2-42 bbl. Bolt is black, marked on TOP flat R and #4. U on the bottom. Normally I would see a deeply stamped R on the underside of a Remington 03. I'm thinking this is an 03A3 bolt?

Thank you for reading.

As I recall, a Springfield replacement bolt body from WWII.

The bolt you describe was manufactured at Springfield Armory circa 1943 as a spare replacement for use in overhaul. It is not a Remington bolt.
