Default Is it acceptable to ask values?

As I asked above, is it acceptable to ask for ballpark price estimates of Garands here? I'm looking at one and need some input so I can make an offer fair to both parties.

TY.

Sure, but you will need to post a lot of details and some photos.

FPNI...….
The more info you give, the better estimate you'll get.
But it seems M1's get higher prices in some areas of the country too.

I don't have the images handy but I can give you the few details that I have so far. It's a IHC in the low 5-million range. (5,00X,XXX) Stock looks GI; very dark wood. No TE/MW figures. It is all IHC from what the seller says. I just came across it today.

Are you willing to "pay up" because the seller says its all correct??? You need to do your homework. There is a big difference between mixmaster IHC and a all correct IHC and a corrected IHC
No one can give you a accurate estimate without detailed pictures and info

Also, just because it is all IHC does not mean it is all correct.

You can ask all you want. Ultimately it is what you can get a buyer to pay. Opinions you get here are just that, opinions. And opinions are like you-know-what, everybody has one and they all stink.

I've decided to 'pull the trigger' and purchase it. The seller and I have interacted before so I think it will be a nice rifle. The rifle and some ammo for 900. Considering it's an IHC with a LMR barrel I feel it's a good deal. I think the receiver is 1954. I'll put up pictures for all to see next week.
