Any New recent order Updates or deliveries out there?
Just trying to gauge where CMP is at with processing orders. Recently submitted my first ever order to CMP and can’t contain my excitement. Thanks.
Order type: M1 Garand RM1SERVICE (Stickied for Early WWII Serial with Nice USGI Stock) Order Sent: 10/18 (Priority) Order received: 10/21 DBU: 10/28/19 CC Hit: 10/29/19 Shipped: 10/31/19 Serial#: 627xxx Puts the manufacture date around May, 1942! Realizing I should have sent it Priority so I could have tracked it. Won't know if/when it gets to Anniston. Checking my e-mails every hour for days now hoping to get a DBU - lol I'm 70, retired and feel like a kid at Christmas. Great fun.

Well it finally arrived a day late. Then it was even late today coming to my house. Was suppose to be here yesterday at Noon but never left Memphis ,Ten.till 3:30 in the afternoon yesterday. Made it to Pittsburgh, Pa. Moon Township Facility 6:30 in the evening and never left there until this morning and came to our Facility at 9:55 in the morning. Went out for delivery was suppose to here today Before 12:00 Noon. Fedex truck stops at 12:30 PM and I'm all excited, to find out it's a package for my wife. I asked the driver if he had a package for me . He said not on this truck. I'm thinking oh boy now what happened. I go back to tracking and it said it was still in route to be delivered but no time on it. Finally I see this white van pull up at my house with no Fedex sign on it around 1:30 pm. It was the Fedex Guy with my rifle. You can tell this rifle was in battle . It was never refinished. Still the original finish , new replacement CMP Walnut stock. August 1948 replacement Barrel Gauges 2 Me and 2 TE All parts are Springfield. The trigger group is all original with a drawing No. on the Milled trigger Guard. Overall nice Rifle. I wish that rifle could talk. I'd say it was probably in the European Theater the way the blueing was worn on the receiver.

Received 10/24 at Anniston DBU e-mail received 11/01/19 Processing - 11/04/19 CC Hit - 11/04/19 Shipped 11/05/2019 Arriving 11/06/2019 SN# SA 3038XXX So the receiver was 'born' late June, early July 1944 Checking my order status online at the e-store provided me with the SN and tracking info. I did receive an e-mail from the CMP this evening providing shipment confirmation, SN etc. I shall NOT sleep soundly and will doubtless be eyeing my front door from early morning on - LOL - Fedex says to expect delivery by about 10:30am - signature required of course.
