Has anyone ever checked the weight of the differnt slides?
I have been told that Inland slides are much heavier than other types.

Since the slides were made from steel, when comparing the same design(type I-VI), slides would be the same weight(within some small tolerance) from any Manufacturer.

I just weighed a Type 4 - 240 grams;
two type VI each weighed 220 grams.
That an M2 cut slide is a little lighter, by 20 g, makes sense, since part of the
"box" is milled away.

I would have weight others, but these are the only loose ones in the box.
