Wow! I couldn't even get one! They were all gone. Good for you guys. If anyone has an "extra" Bavarian sling, I promise to give it a great home.

The owner of the gun shop I manage, sold me a NPM Bavarian Rural Police he got a while back from the CMP. The stock is type 2 highwood and marked Trimble TN in the sling well. It has W marked trigger, an unmarked milled recoil plate, an IRCO type 3 rear sight, JI type 3 barrel band, SS marked flip safety, HI marked hammer and a EP B mag release. The barrel is an Underwood dated 8-43. Everything else is marked with some sort of "N" for NPM.
The stock sling well, the handguard and flat bolt are stamped with last four digits of the serial number. The trigger guard is stamped L.G.K.T and has four numbers that have nothing to do with the serial number. The W marked trigger has four completely different numbers stamped on it.
All for the modest sum of $500.00!

Here is a Winchester on Jim Mock's site:

Curious if any forum members have one they could post on this thread?
